Description
The King s Hawaiian Original Dinner Roll Story King s Hawaiian bread got its start in Hilo Hawaii in the 1950s by Robert Taira a young man with a big passion for baking. Using the best local ingredients Taira created a bread that was irresistibly soft fluffy and just the right amount of sweet for a taste like none other. King s Hawaiian sweet bread became a local staple spreading through the Hawaiian Islands and eventually to the U.S. mainland bringing a little of the Aloha Spirit to breadbaskets and sandwiches from coast to coast. Today the Taira family s legacy and original recipe continues showcased in everything from King s Hawaiian rolls and round breads to mini sub rolls hot dog and hamburger buns. The delightful breads add just the right balance to everything from deli sandwiches to French toast–and they even taste fantastic straight from the bag!
